Ruzgar Ahmadzada was born on August 14, 2002, in Baku, Azerbaijan. She received her higher education in musicology at the National Conservatory of Azerbaijan. From an early age, she successfully explored the field of painting, but eventually chose to pursue a career as a composer and musicologist. Ruzgar began studying the secrets of this profession under the guidance of Professor Aydin Azimov, who is the head of the Composition Department at the Baku Music Academy, People's Artist of Azerbaijan and holder of the "Order of Labour" award.
Ruzgar Ahmadzada began her serious composing career at the age of 15 with her first work "Laylay" (op.1). Her music portfolio includes various pieces for different instruments, two romances for tenor and baritone, a piece for soprano and violin, various songs, a mixed choir and string quartet work titled “Rənglər”, string quartet and wind quintet, “5 Preludes” for piano, “Variations” (titled "Çeşidlər"), “Sonatina”, “Dedication”, and the “Sinfonietta” with three movement for mixed orchestra. Her compositions also include works for flute, horn, harp, violin, cello, and double bass.
In honor of the 100th anniversary of the prominent composer F.Amirov, she arranged "Azerbaijani Capriccio" for four cellos, fantasy on the theme of "1001 Nights" for two pianos – 8 hands, and Excerpt from "1001 Nights" for mixed ensemble.
Despite her relatively short time in the field of composition, her works have been featured on various stages in the country and abroad. These include a concert in Paris organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in France, the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, and the Coordinating Council of Azerbaijanis in France, dedicated to the 98th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birth. Her works have also been performed at the “Hochschule für Musik Nürnberg” Conservatory in Nuremberg, Germany, and in Ankara, Turkiye, at the Bilkent Concert Hall during a concert dedicated to Fikret Amirov. Additionally, her compositions have been performed in Moldova and Strasbourg, France, at concerts dedicated to Remembrance Day.
On March 26, 2023, her official anthem for the “Qarabağ FK” football club was performed for the first time in front of 62,500 spectators, with the participation of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva at the charity match between “Qarabağ FK” and “Galatasaray”.
Currently, Ruzgar Ahmadzada is also continuing her work in film music industry. She is the author of the soundtracks for short films such as "Qütb Ulduzu", "Hökm", "Metamorphosis", "Вселение" and for the full-length film "Qapı"
